Vindicta is a long-range sniper who controls fights from outside them. Her rifle scales with distance, and her Assassinate ultimate executes low-health targets from across the map โ€” a threat that forces enemies to play around their own health bars.

Role
Sniper / Execute
Difficulty
High
Best For
Long-range poke, execution, zoning

Core Identity

Vindicta trades close-range safety for reach. Her Crow Familiar grants vision and poke, her Stake pins an enemy to the ground, and her flight ability gives her vertical angles that most heroes cannot contest.

The heart of the kit is Assassinate: a long-range shot that deals bonus damage to low-health targets and refunds on kill, letting a skilled player chain executions across an entire fight.

How to Play

  1. Play at your maximum range. Your damage rises with distance โ€” abuse it.
  2. Hold Assassinate for low-health targets. It is an execute, not a poke tool.
  3. Use verticality. Flight gives you angles enemies cannot easily trade into.
  4. Track flankers. A sniper caught alone is a free kill โ€” keep your escape ready.
  5. Chain executions. Each Assassinate kill refunds the ability, so look for the next low-health target immediately.

Ability Upgrade Order

| Priority | Ability | Reason | | --- | --- | --- | | 1 | Assassinate | Core execute and chain potential | | 2 | Stake | More reliable self-peel | | 3 | Crow Familiar | Vision and poke value | | 4 | Weapon | Scales late |

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Unmatched effective range and execute pressure
  • Vision control through Crow Familiar
  • Can chain kills to win fights single-handedly

Cons

  • Extremely vulnerable if caught at close range
  • High mechanical ceiling โ€” aim is non-negotiable
  • Falls off against coordinated dive comps

Execution Tip

Do not tunnel on a single target. A low-health enemy running away is often a trap โ€” the rest of their team is watching the same angle you are.
