Bebop Guide
Ranged pickoff specialist who drags enemies out of position with a hook and sticky bomb.
Last updated: 2026-06-10
Bebop is a ranged pickoff specialist built around one threat: his Hook. A well-placed hook drags an enemy out of position and into your team, turning a neutral fight into an instant 5v6.
Core Identity
Bebop's kit is a punish tool. His Sticky Bomb attaches to a target and detonates after a short delay, forcing them to either run from their team or eat the damage. His Hyper Beam ultimate locks him in place but melts anything in a straight line.
The whole hero asks one question of the enemy: "are you standing somewhere you shouldn't be?"
How to Play
- Fish for hooks from fog. Hook from bushes or behind walls, not from the middle of the lane.
- Combo hook into sticky bomb. Land the hook, stick the bomb, then let your team collapse.
- Save Hyper Beam for chokepoints. It is at its best in narrow lanes where enemies cannot sidestep.
- Respect your own immobility. Bebop has no escape โ burn your hook only when you can afford to fight.
- Roam after the laning phase. A roaming Bebop applying pressure to every lane is far scarier than one farming.
Ability Upgrade Order
| Priority | Ability | Reason | | --- | --- | --- | | 1 | Hook | Lower cooldown means more picks | | 2 | Sticky Bomb | Higher burst on the pick target | | 3 | Ultimate | Team-fight damage in corridors | | 4 | Weapon | Situational poke |
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Best-in-class single-target displacement
- Huge pick potential that wins fights before they start
- Strong roaming pressure across the map
Cons
- No mobility โ very punishable if caught out
- Skillshot-reliant; a missed hook is a wasted rotation
- Ultimate leaves him stationary and vulnerable
Positioning Tip
The threat of your hook is often worth more than the hook itself. Hold it and enemies will play scared โ they will respect angles that are not even dangerous yet.
